Scrambling
Enjoy the desert by scrambling on the bedouin roads of Wadi Rum, the heritage of the desert’s inhabitants since the nabatean time until nowadays.
In the past, those roads were used for hunting in the moutains, when Ibex were numerous in Wadi Rum desert. From those routes and summits, you will appreciate some amazing views above the desert and the Saoudian border. And if you are lucky you may see some Ibex…
Walk on mountains and canyons ( around 5-6 hours walk).
Sometimes you have to use your hands to go up and you may have some short abseils.
This activity would suit anybody who is a little sporty and who has already walked on mountains.
Nights are spent in our bedouin camp inside the protected area. (From 4 people you can ask for bivouacs.)

We have fixed departures at 9.30 am every fridays, sundays and wednesdays.
The « bedouin summits» is a two days and two nights program, accompanied by an experienced bedouin guide.
Departure is guaranteed from 2 people to 8 people.

Itinerary :

Day 1
Arrival in the village at 9.00am, time to drink tea and to meet your bedouin guide. Then you will start by jeep to Jebel Burdah. From there you will do scrambling to reach the natural rockbridge and cross it to go down from the other side of the mountain.
After a good bedouin lunch cooked on the spot and a pleasant nap, you will walk through narrow canyons and reach the mountain of Abu Hassaran where you will have dinner and spend the night in our bedouin camp.
Day 2
After breakfast, we will drive you by jeep further to the south to Jebel Khash, you will hike up to the summit and enjoy an amazing view above Wadi Rum desert and the saudian border. After lunch you will walk through Nugra valley and then reach back our bedouin camp for the last night.
The next morning we will drive you back to the village at convenient time for your leaving and transportation.
